Ever since my mother had passed away when I was in the eighth grade, I became very independent. This is when I began to live with my grandparents. Through the struggle of my mother's death and my father's alcoholism, I had to stay strong and overcome many obstacles on my own. For example, applying to colleges, working, supporting myself, and becoming independent as a young teenager. My motivation is my mother. Although she is not here with me physically to help me through obstacles, I know she would be very proud if she knew how hard I work and how I put my all into everything I do. My grandparents and the rest of my family also keep me motivated because with out them, I have no idea what kind of person I would be or where I would be living. I am very grateful for everything my family has done for me. I enjoy making others happy and giving a helping hand to motivate others. I want the world to keep each other inspired and motivated.
